Why do you specialize in just jadeite? Do you have other non-jade products?Only jadeite products here. I felt that it was rare to find on the Western market and not accessible to younger generations who are interested in discovering more about it, or interested in wearing it, so I started this shop. Hope you enjoy!

How is jade typically priced? How do you price your items?Jadeite increases in value based on its color, translucency, rarity, artistic value, and intricacy. One of the quickest ways to detect the quality of the jadeite you are considering is how TRANSLUCENT the piece is. When held under the light, does light peek through? Does it glow? Is it glossy and reflective? Does it have depth? Is the jade flat and colorless or is it rich in color? You can compare translucent, vibrant, and icy jadeite with denser stones, whether jadeite or otherwise, to see a difference. I look for all of these factors to ensure quality. I take all of these factors into consideration when pricing my items. Also, it is a rare natural stone, so it cannot be replicated -- each is one-of-one, especially carved pieces, so this affects the price, too. Jade is truly one of nature's wonders. Lastly, jade is an unmistakable spiritual investment, culturally and historically prized in Eastern culture for the immaterial value it brings to the wearer. It is said to attract luck & fortune, protect the wearer, and even affect one's health positively. Its mere presence is a gift. (Also much rarer to access reliably in the Western world.) You can read more about its benefits in the About page <3

Who designs and makes your products?I do! I conceptualize & create my original products, and I wear them myself for extended periods of time to ensure quality. I also use 925 silver earrings, beads, and findings to ensure quality. My designs are inspired by my heritage, the superstition of a cultural fixture like jade, and its role in my own spirituality. Jade has been known for its power for a long time, but I wanted to add my touches to it in a way that opens up space for love, magic, and imagination. After all, it is something I love and have become obsessed with!! My hope is that you feel that and these pieces resonate with/expand your own love, magic, and imagination.

Where do you source your products?Everything here I searched for myself and purchased from individual sellers in Taiwan! Nothing is like the other, much like curating vintage or collector's items. I support individuals and small businesses -- none of the jadeite you see here is big-box from a corporation. Many come as they are, like carved pendants, and some of the pieces I conceptualized and redesigned myself. Living in Taiwan was a great inspiration for me; I am Taiwanese-American, but Taiwan is my parents' homeland, and it's an honor to support local sellers + the local economy during the process of curating these pieces.

What if something I like is sold out?If it’s a self-designed piece, you can message me and I will see if I have the supplies left to recreate it or create something similar as natural stones cannot be replicated.

How long does an order take to ship?I can guarantee that your order will be shipped out within a week. It will likely be sooner than that, though. :)

When is the best time to wear jade? All the time! For as long as often as possible. There is a Chinese saying, “玉養人,人養玉” meaning jade nurtures the person, the person nurtures jade. It is said to be a living stone that can change color and become more beautiful as you wear it for longer and it becomes an extension of you.
-
How do you guarantee your products are authentic?I check each of my products with a Presidium Gem Tester to make sure they are authentic. If you have any concerns, you can email me at injadeitewetrust@gmail.com and I can send a video of the gem testing process to you.

How do I clean 925 Silver and jadeite? To polish 925 silver, use a silver cleaning cloth or liquid cleaning agent, both of which can be found online. 925 silver is a very absorbent metal, so if the metal starts looking grayish or darkened, it may be time to polish. Some recommend keeping silver pieces in an airtight container/pouch to prevent them from oxidizing. For jade, keep in a regular-temp environment and polish with a soft cloth.
